ContactPoint

 

ContactPoint (previously known as the Information Sharing Index) is a new electronic tool being developed by the DCSF to support communications between practitioners and others working with children and young people.

 

It is a secure online directory that will enable those working with young people to find out who else is working with the same young person, making it easier to deliver more co-ordinated support.

 

ContactPoint was delivered to Somerset in the summer of 2009.
